1. Overview

SOHO ("we", "us", "our") operates the SOHO salon management platform and mobile application (the "App"), available at salon.sg. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App. The App is a business management tool that salon businesses use to schedule and manage appointments.

2. Information We Collect

The App processes the following data on behalf of salon businesses to manage appointments:

• Customer contact information: names and mobile phone numbers, synced from Google Contacts
• Appointment data: dates, times, services booked, pricing, and appointment status
• Authentication tokens: JSON Web Tokens (JWT) stored securely on your device for login

We do not collect analytics, device identifiers, location data, or usage tracking information.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used solely to:

• Display and manage salon appointments
• Send appointment confirmations and booking links via SMS
• Identify returning customers and suggest rebooking

4. Data Storage and Security

• Authentication tokens are stored in iOS Secure Enclave via expo-secure-store
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS to our backend servers
• Appointment and contact data is stored on Google Calendar and Google Contacts (managed under the platform's Google Workspace account)
• No data is stored on third-party analytics or advertising platforms

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with:

• Google Calendar API — to read and write appointment events
• Google Contacts API — to sync customer contact information
• WhatsApp — to open WhatsApp conversations (via deep links; no data is shared programmatically)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share customer data with any third parties. Data remains within the platform's Google Workspace and the App's backend infrastructure, accessible only to the salon business it belongs to.

7. Data Retention

Appointment data is retained in Google Calendar indefinitely as part of normal business records. You can delete individual appointments through the App or directly in Google Calendar at any time.

8. Your Rights

As a salon business using the App, you have full control over the data in your account. You can:

• View, edit, or delete any appointment
• Remove customer contacts via Google Contacts
• Sign out and clear stored credentials at any time

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
